Great Expectations Wk 1

What is your expectation? One that is just beneath the surface of your heart. An expectation that you haven’t yet let go of. Something you carry with you even now. It’s a secret hope. One that you treasure. It’s a desire of what could happen. Of the kind of person you could still become. Of the change you still long to see. 

The entire expectation of a nation rested on one man. So much hope. So much longing. And in a way that defies expectation, that man, Jesus Christ not only met those expectations, but exceeded them. Even the ones still inside of you can still find fulfillment in Him.
